Telekinesis
Telekinesis is the ability to move objects with the mind. Yes, I said with the mind. That means using no hands or any part of your physical body. Telekinesis literally means "to move at a distance".

Psychokinesis is a more general term, covering a wider range of abilities other than telekinesis. Telekinesis is specific to moving objects by means unknown to scientists.
Of course, most people believe telekinesis to be a made up ability. But there really is no real proof supporting or going against it. If you think about it though, humans only use a very small percentage of their brain. Look at how much we can do with only that small percent! We consider ourselves to be the smartest beings on the planet, and yet we barely use any of our brainpower. The mind is a powerful and almost scary thing sometimes, so I believe if humans used a larger percent of their brain, they would be able to perform something like telekinesis. This is just my speculation though, as there are many arguements both for and against the ability.
Telekinesis has made appearances in many fictional things, which is probably why it is known so well in comparison to other abilities similar to it. Maybe most noteable is the Pokemon series, where the psychic-type Pokemon as well as some psychic trainers have the ability to move objects with their minds. The movie and book Matilda also uses the ability of telekinesis, as Matilda is able to move whatever she pleases with her mind.
