Amy is the adoptive daughter of Raphael Sorel. When he comes home, almost deathly wounded from his battle with Nightmare, she nurses him back to health. Neither of the two, however, realized that Raphael had evil pulsing through his blood until it was too late. Amy became infected with the same evil from touching his blood. The two were weak and tired during the day, and felt a strong thirst. Amy was no longer human and could not interact with the outside world that would not accept her. Raphael decides to create a world in which Amy can live in, and leaves her in order to destroy any threat to that world. He tells her to be good and wait for his return, but after musing over his words, decides to leave in order to take things into her own hands...
I had been debating whether or not there was enough information to pull this shrine off for quite some time, but I decided to go for it anyway. I put quite a few hours into unlocking Amy because I kept losing and having to restart so I could at least get a chance to fight her. I cannot describe how happy I was when I finally beat her and was able to play as her character. I do not know why she has become my favorite Soul Calibur character when she is such a minor character, but I think she is completely awesome. She is fast, beautiful and the epitome of silent but deadly. For whatever reason, I really wanted to unlock her, and now that I have, I decided that she needed some kind of tribute. The Silence is currently fairly small because of the lack of information, but since Amy has been announced to be in the upcoming Soul Calibur IV, I am sure I will be able to add more information in the near future.
